Election periods do consist of 2 parts:

Submission of application

It is possible to register as a candidate for the following period:

Municipal elections: 14 days before the end of the legislation period of the current mayor
Council elections: 30 days before the end of the legislation period of the current council
Sovereign elections: for 14 days after the current sovereign's death
Elections fo the parish priest: 15 days before the end of the office term of the current priest

Election

It is possible to vote for a candidate in:

Municipal elections: 5 days before the end of the legislation period of the current mayor
Council elections: 5 days before the end of the legislation period of the current council
Sovereign elections: at the end of the nomination period for 7 days for the first round, and 7 days for the second round
Elections fo the parish priest: 8 days to 2 days before the end of the office term of the current priest
