THE LEGEND OF AIIANE AND GREGARIOUS
Of stalwart heart and shoulders broad,
He raised his sword for England's side.
And ere he went, ensnared with ease,
The love of every maiden's pride.
Lo Elsbeth!, Desideratist!, and all the rest
In vain their love they trow.
For e'en he graced them with his smiles
They could not call him beau.
In Litchfield fair, there lived a maid
With hair of red and heart of gold.
And there she met this valiant knight
Wherein this tale unfolds.
Her heart and soul she gave to him
And followed far and wide.
Defending peace and England's might
Where ever they would ride.
Their lives entwined, their fates were sealed
Astide their mighty steeds they sit.
Hand in hand and side by side
Into timeless memory's mist.
