Poetry contest
A poem contest can be launched by the administrators of the game.
Valentine's Day 2011
Write a beautiful declaration of love. The winning poems will be published in an article on 14th February and the winners will win:
- A gift box "Tentation à Deux" (Romantic activity for 2) with a value of €99.90: 200 gift boxes for Wellness, Adventure, Gastronomy or staying overnight in France.
- A bouquet of roses and chocolates
- A 250g box of chocolates "I love you"
- A heart of rose petals
- A Valentine's Day mini-heart that holds 21 romantic challenges for pairs

Valentine's Day 2012
Compose a sonnet based on the theme of love, happy or unhappy. There are only some little requirements :
- The sonnet has to rhyme
- it has to be composed in the order of 2 quatrains and 2 tercets (4 verses, 4 verses, 3 verses, 3 verses)
- the verses must be Alexandrins (verses of 12 syllables each)
- the hemistiches are optional
The sonnet has to be turned in until midnight of Sunday, 12th February. The poem must be posted in the comments of the blog post announcing the contest (http://www.celsius-online.com/blog/2012/02/saint-valentin-2012-competition/) with the following information:
- The language in which the poem is written.
- Your charakter's name and the game Celsius to which this login corresponds.
- The title of your poem.
- Your poem
For each language, a vote is held on the Celisus Online forum.
The best poem in each language is selected by voting of the players on the Celsius Online forum, this vote opens on Monday, 13th February and ends on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, 14th February at noon.
The winners' names are proclaimed on Valentine's Day, they will win 600 gems. (Megagong aficionados are also welcome to enter the competition, and if one of them wins, he or she will win a Megagong gift card worth 55 bids.) The poets will enjoy the glory and immortality of their name by being published on the Celsius Online Blog.

Valentine's Day 2016

On the theme of True Love. All interpretations of the theme are allowed, you are free. Style: rhyme or prose, classical or free form, no stylistic constraints are imposed. You must, however, comply with the rules of the game, which prohibit any type of content that is prohibited by law or reserved for over-18s. In addition, any plagiarism of third-party works will be penalised. If you win the competition, you accept that your text may be integrated into the game on various media (such as Ingame books) and sold in the gift shop inside the game. You can write in your mother tongue, and you will only be able to see poems in your language when voting. If you wish to participate or read in another language, log out and change the language of the game. Each player had 5 votes to cast for their favourite poems. The winners have the honour of having their poem included in the game in book form. They also received 1,000 gems each and 5 copies of their poem. Competition results: There were 10 winning poems, all of which can be read in the premium access gift shop. |
